NBC 9 News - Denver, Colorado
August 13, 2010 Dr. Mark Bush on NBC 9 News Denver, CO
Dr. Mark Bush discusses with 9 News a family’s fertility journey at Conceptions. He introduces a new technique called Microarray Analysis that can test for the correct number of chromosomes to ensure a healthy embryo is implanted during In Vitro Fertilization (IVF). This avoids the implantation of unhealthy embryos, which can lead to negative pregnancy test, miscarriages, or bad results in amniocentesis.
If an unhealthy embryo does exist, Microarray Analysis testing can also provide an indication of if the issue is with the male or female. This information allows for IVF options such as sperm and egg donation to be explored. - Watch the Video
