Dr. Mark Bush is board certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. He graduated with High Honors from the University of California, Berkeley, with a B.A. in Biology. After obtaining his M.D. from Georgetown, he completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at William Beaumont AMC and then completed a three-year fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Duke University Medical Center.
Dr. Bush has extensive experience in all aspects of Reproductive Endocrinology, Infertility, and Assisted Reproductive Technologies. He served with distinction as the Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility Division Director at two academic institutions during the six years following the completion of his fellowship. He has held the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, Washington, and then Associate Professor at the F. Edward Hebert School of Medicine in Bethesda, Maryland. Among his many awards is the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists CREOG National Faculty Award in 2001.
Dr. Bush is a member of numerous medical societies including being a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, which reflects his interest and expertise in advanced endoscopic reproductive tract surgery. He has published numerous basic science and clinical papers in the field of women's health.
Dr. Bush is a sought after speaker from California to New York, lecturing on the management of PCOS, hypothalamic dysfunction, IVF in women who have poor egg health testing who want to use their own eggs, laparoscopic myomectomy and other surgical techniques, as well as innovative testing and management of recurrent pregnancy loss and implantation failure. He has also been a leader in the clinical application of CCS (complete chromosomal screening) of embryos prior to implantation. Dr. Bush combines this medical knowledge and competence with a compassionate and caring approach as he assists couples in overcoming their infertility.
