The Embryology Laboratory is an integral part of fertility treatment and critical to the success of in-vitro fertilization. So to give our patients the absolute best opportunity to build a family, Conceptions sought out world-renowned Barry Behr, PhD, HCLD (High Complexity Laboratory Director), to be our Embryology Lab Director.

Recognized as being at the forefront of clinical and scientific advances in reproduction, Dr. Behr is known for his research in embryo culture technology and embryo-maternal interaction. Additionally, he has positively impacted pregnancy rates, implantation rates and reduced the risk of multiple gestations in IVF by developing a culture medium for embryo development to the blastocyst stage.
