Dr. Albrecht, the Director of Conceptions' Reproductive Biology Laboratory, is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology. He is one of the first physicians in Colorado to be certified by the Accreditation Council on Gynecologic Endoscopy in advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery.

The doctor earned his B.A. degree from the University of Colorado and his M.D. degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine. He completed residencies at both Boston Hospital for Women and Harvard School of Medicine. During his residency at Harvard, Dr. Albrecht was honored for his teaching abilities by the medical student body. He also completed a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Albrecht has received many endorsements from medical organizations. For four years, he was Associate Director of the Endoscopic Surgery Center at Rose Medical Center. He was also Vice Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Rose Medical Center and Chairman of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Quality Improvement Committee. He is a member of the Society of Reproductive Endocrinologists and the Colorado representative for the Advisory Council for the Western Region of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine.

His written works have been extensively published in medical journals, and he often speaks to groups about women's health issues.
