Susan graduated from Colorado State University, with an Equine science degree in 1996. Her love for reproductive medicine began when she started working at the Equine Reproduction Laboratory during her time at CSU. She took this knowledge and entered the world of human reproduction, as an embryologist in 1997. She has worked as an embryologist ever since.
When she is not working, she is busy with her family; her husband, two children, horses, and dogs. She also spends time running, hiking, enjoying the outdoors, and finding time to visit the ocean whenever possible.
