Be a Donor

Why choose to donate?

Thank you for your interest in becoming an Egg Donor with Conceptions Reproductive Associates of Colorado. This is a very exciting, interesting and rewarding egg donation program. We are looking for young, healthy women who want to make a difference in someone else’s life. Many women may be initially motivated to become an egg donor for the financial compensation they receive, but they begin to see how fulfilling their role is in this egg donation process.

The donation process offers a comprehensive, complimentary medical evaluation complete with a hormone assessment, thyroid and vitamin D testing, blood typing, genetic screening, communicable disease testing, and physical exam.

For your generous commitment to our donor egg program we will compensate you $7,000 for your first egg donation. However, many donors enjoy the process and return for future egg donations. If you become a repeat Conceptions Egg Donor we will then increase your compensation to $7,500 for each donation.

Getting Started - Become an Egg Donor in Denver, CO

Fill out an Egg Donor Application

Once we receive your application it will be reviewed within a few days.  You will receive a call from an Egg Donor Coordinator to schedule your initial visit.

Initial Fertility Clinic Visit:

During your initial visit to Conceptions, you will meet with one of our knowledgeable Egg Donor Coordinators.  They are Registered Nurses who specialize in fertility and egg donation.  They will take a copy of your driver’s license and proof of medical insurance.  If you do not currently have medical insurance your potential recipient couple will provide you with medical insurance once you are chosen for an egg donation.

You will be asked to fill out a series or questionnaires.  The most important of these questionnaires will be your medical history.  Please research your family’s medical history before your initial visit.  Your medical history will be reviewed by an RN and Licensed Genetic Counselor.  Your medical history is very important to your potential recipient couple as well as to your success as a donor.  Full and honest discloser is a must.

After you have completed your egg donor questionnaires you will receive a packet on Egg Donation.  The RN will review all the details related to the egg donation process including the procedure, the injections you will be taking, side effects and potential risks.  This is your opportunity to ask about any questions or concerns you may have.

Our egg donor program is anonymous.

You will be asked to provide us with childhood photos. This will help your potential recipients in the matching process. We do ask that you provide clear photos that show your facial features. You can provide as many as you choose - we ask for ages ranging from infancy to school age. Copies of your photos will then be passed on to other potential recipients searching for an egg donor. Conceptions does not provide any personally identifiable information to recipients.

$7,000 Compensation for Egg Donation

You will be compensated $7,000 for your donation cycle. This compensation is to thank you for all the hard work, time and effort you give to our program. If you decide you would like to donate again you will be compensated $7,500 for your next donation, since you will be considered a proven a donor!

Thank you so much for your wonderful gift!

The Egg Donation Process

This is the most exciting part! Once you have been matched with a recipient, you will be given detailed instructions during the entire process.

Medications and Ultrasounds:

Everyone’s biggest concern is the injections. Don’t worry, we are here to help! We will schedule a medication consult for you to come in and pick up all your medications.  At that time we will also teach you everything you will need to give yourself all your injections in the comfort of your own home.

While taking injections, be prepared for daily appointments.  These appointments last only 30 minutes and include ultrasounds and blood draws. Our office opens at 7:00 am to accommodate your busy lifestyle. In addition we have several locations to serve you.

Egg Retrieval:

Once you have completed your injection protocol, your last step in the process is the egg retrieval. This is a minor surgical procedure that will be done at our Littleton location.  The procedure only takes about 20 minutes to complete. You will be asleep for the whole procedure. There are no incisions or scarring after the procedure.  You will then be discharged the same day as your procedure.  You will be able to return to work the very next day!

Thank you for your wonderful egg donation and affecting so many lives in a positive way!!
