I am a licensed psychotherapist and counselor specializing in the psychological impact of infertility, pregnancy loss, and donor procedures and surrogacy. I've worked with fertility clinics in Colorado and California and have a private practice in Boulder, Colorado. I've been active in the American Society for Reproductive Medicine's Mental Health Professional Group for many years and I'm the author of Unspeakable Losses: Healing from Infertility and Pregnancy Loss (WW Norton and Harper Collins) and a series of books for young children (The Pea That Was Me series and The Very Kind Koala) which help introduce them to the special and wonderful ways they have come into the world.
