Dr. Abigail Bernard is a board-certified reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist dedicated to helping individuals and couples navigate their family-building journey with compassion, expertise, and personalized care.

She earned her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience, with a minor in Psychology, from Vanderbilt University, graduating magna cum laude. Dr. Bernard received her medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine, where she graduated in the top 10% of her class and was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.

Dr. Bernard completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of North Carolina, serving as Education Chief Resident and earning the Golden Tar Heel Teaching Award for three consecutive years. She then completed her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Duke University. She is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Her clinical interests include fertility preservation, optimizing fertility outcomes, patient education, and understanding how environmental exposures may impact reproductive health. During her fellowship training, she received the Charles Hammond Research Fund Award for her research examining environmental influences on endometrial health.

Dr. Bernard is passionate about empowering patients through education and partnership. She believes one of the most rewarding aspects of reproductive medicine is helping patients make informed decisions during some of life's most meaningful moments. Her goal is to provide individualized, evidence-based care that supports each patient's unique path to parenthood.

Outside of the office, Dr. Bernard enjoys spending time with her husband, toddler, and golden retriever. She loves hiking, running, pickleball, traveling, and cheering on her hometown Kansas City Chiefs.
